Street Photographer Vivian Maier
Street photographer Vivian Maier via words out of the mouth of my friend James (hi James).
Her story is just as amazing as her photographs (a private person, she took photos purely for her own sake and was undiscovered until a box of her negatives was purchased at a storage locker auction. She has since exploded in the photography world, receiving write ups on the NY Times and slots on CBS and the BBC). Definitely worth the read.

The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals
These images are from Charles Darwin's book The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals published in 1872.
I was shown them as part of a Biology paper I took at uni a couple of years ago and haven't forgotten them. I found them here in the Wiki Commons. Pretty great.

Tiny Ruins
Tiny Ruins. She's just released an incredible album that's been getting equally incredible write ups. I was lucky enough to take some photos of her (Hollie) for the release. Here are the ones that she has decided to use:
You can find Tiny Ruins here, here and here and you could also read this review by Alice Galletly for Werewolf if you think that you might like reading good things (I'm pretty sure you do).
